The food and service impressed me during my stay. I enjoyed a glass of champagne upon checking in, which was a nice touch. The ambiance felt unique and warm. One night, I appreciated the staff's response when one meal was not cooked as expected; it was quickly fixed. I found the historical architecture captivating, fitting well with my love for art and history.
There were some cleanliness issues in the room, including items left from a previous guest. The bathroom scale was not functional.

missingWrote a review on Oct 06comfortable bedhistoric buildingunique atmospherebilling surprise
The Premium Suite delivers on comfort, featuring a deep soaking clawfoot tub perfect for unwinding after a long day. The building radiates history and charm, providing a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you're stepping into a bygone era.
The suite's layout felt oddly cramped for the price, with a bath door that refused to close. Expect surprises in your final bill, like a hefty overnight parking fee that far exceeded what was advertised, and make sure to seek alternatives for breakfast, as the options here leave much to be desired with bland, uninspired offerings and additional fees that stack up fast.

The historic charm of this place really got me right when I walked in the door like it transported me back to another time and the staff was downright amazing like they knew exactly how to care for me. I loved the spa area with its saltwater hot tub it was like slipping into a dream and honestly the attention to detail in the room was impressive like every little thing was just right.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but what you got made it acceptable.

missingWrote a review on Jul 16luxurious decorhistorical detailslimited breakfast
The room's ambiance captivates, especially the luxurious decor in the Deluxe Queen Room. Unique historical details throughout the establishment, like the intricate woodwork and vintage furnishings, create an atmosphere that feels exclusive and steeped in character.
The breakfast selection felt a bit underwhelming, which might not satisfy those looking for extensive options in the morning. Additionally, having to rely on valet for parking can be a hassle, particularly for those wanting direct access to their vehicles without the wait.

The historic building and club facilities were stunning, akin to walking through a museum. I adored the lavish Premium Suite with its incredibly comfortable bed and a deep soaking claw foot tub. The front desk staff truly went above and beyond, especially when they arranged a delicious meal for me after I had injured my foot.
Noisy city sounds could be heard from the room.
